I am Fifi, owner of the fisherhat penguin! The nickname of that penguin is "Fifille" which is a French pun to say it's a girl version of Fifi, and I believe that's what you tried to name it, but it does work. On the legendary sticker it says "Fefile". On the shop it says "Fifile". Honestly for clarity you should just name it Fifi in the game. Everyone will understand.
